In the Mobiles, the iPhone is 46% of the category. The total sample size was 14226 visits by humans. This time last year it was XP 70.4%, Vista 17.5, Other Windows 4.5, Mac 6.0, Linux 1.2 and Others 0.4 (down from 0.6). The Microsoft market share has fallen from 92.4% to 88.7%. Within Firefox the 24.2% comprises 10.7% version 3.5, 11.7% version 3.0 with version 2.0 on 1.6% and earlier versions 0.2%. Within IE, IE8 is now well ahead on IE6. The breakup of the 62.0% is IE8 17.9%, IE7 28.2%, IE6 14.6% and all earlier versions 1.3%. The total sample size was 10796 visits by humans. Once again the figure for Google is the highest ever recorded, plus the lowest figure ever seen for Yahoo. Top Tip: If you want to lose market share fast, just show your customers really intrusive almost full-screen advertisements.
