X marks the spot
This mark in the gutter in Dangar Place, Chippendale, shows where Roger Rogerson shot Warren Lanfranchi in 1981.

In the movie Blue Murder, the same shooting is recreated on location in Dangar Place, but slightly along the street. Heavily armed police are seen pouring out of the Britannia Hotel on the other side of Cleveland Street.
