Waverley Council includes Bronte Beach, Tamarama Beach, Dover Heights, Waverley, a large part of Bondi Junction, and Bondi Beach. Our Council is responsible for providing many services to one of the most densely populated municipalities in the country. The Bondi Action Group (BAG) is a local group of residents fighting against the greed of certain developers who are pushing for over-development near the beach. We encourage local residents to support BAG.

Discounts for pensioners. Special school holiday programs too. Drop in at 138 Bondi Road or ring for the latest brochure.

Disability Information & Referral Centre - DIRC Eastern Sydney is funded by the NSW Ageing & Disability Department via the NSW Department of Community Services to provide information on services and support available to people with any type of disability who live in Eastern Sydney, including the local government areas of Botany Bay, Randwick, South Sydney, Sydney City, Waverley & Woollahra.

Bondi Beach Cottage - 42 Brighton Boulevard. Ph: (02) 9365 1607. Neighbourhood family centre. Offers referral, support and/or advice on domestic violence issues, legal problems, court support, health information, housing issues and parenting skills, tenancy advice (Monday afternoons), counselling, women's group and child care. Priority for child care given to low income and single parent families and families from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Bondi Beach Out of School Hours Centre - based at Bondi Beach Public School. Offers child care before and after school as well as during school holidays. Ph: (02) 9365 4018.

Eastern Suburbs Tenants Service - Bondi Junction office, Echo Neighbourhood Centre, 27 Spring St, Bondi Junction. Ph: (02) 9386 9147. Fax: (02) 9386 9146. Telephone advice is available on: Monday-Wednesday, 10-12.30 & 2-4.30; Thursday-Friday, 10-12.30. EASTS provides advice at Bondi Beach cottage on Monday afternoons. EASTS can help you queries about: starting your tenancy, leaving, Residential Tenancies Tribunal hearing, being evicted, getting repairs done and owing rent.

Star Sports Camps are school holiday sports camps for girls and boys between the ages of 5 to 15. Star Sports camps offers Soccer and Multi sports camps each day of the school holidays from 9am to 3pm with an aftercare service till 5pm.

The camps are based at Queens Park, Waverley. The Multi sports camps offers coaching in the following sports: Athletics, Cricket, Hockey, Soccer, Softball, T-Ball & Touch Football. The Soccer camps are skills based in the morning and team based in the afternoon. At the end of the week, awards and certificates are handed out to all in attendance.
