Waverley Council

Waverley Council includes Bronte Beach, Tamarama Beach, Dover Heights, Waverley, a large part of Bondi Junction, and Bondi Beach. Our Council is responsible for providing many services to one of the most densely populated municipalities in the country. In this section you can read info and press releases from our local Council, lots of it relevant to Bondi Beach.

The Bondi Action Group (BAG) is a local group of residents fighting against the greed of certain developers who are pushing for over-development near the beach. We encourage local residents to support BAG.
